Our client wanted a website refresh as it had been about 20 years. They wanted their web presence to mirror their professional work, as they say “the way you do one thing is the way you do everything.” We told them to go for a super clean look, as that is the nature of their practice (cleanings and cosmetic).

To do that, we did a bit of a brand refresh. We removed any previously used yellow design features as yellow is associated with poor oral hygiene and plaque. We also upgraded the previous use of gray for a sharp and contrasting black. The higher contrast established a crisper and cleaner look. We introduced a variety of blues which not only is associated with health, but also provides a fresh feel (ice, mint, cool tones, etc.). Additionally, the temperature on all of the photos was turned down to mimic that fresh and clean feel.

We went into their office to take some real photos and videos to provide a better sense of realism. It puts patients at ease to see real and friendly faces.  Therefore, we also advised against using stock photos. We used real images of featured TDS cases and staff members. We didn’t want the website to come across as cheesy (no pun intended). So, we avoided any and all cheap slogans about smiling.

Our client also had a large practice which was also the best in the area, but one would not be able to tell. We made it apparent that they were the go-to practice backed by social proof (reviews, testimonials, and other methods).

Their ROI had already doubled after one week.

Clients considered themselves “tech-illiterate.” They used Shopify but have had constant issues in the past. We switched to Webflow which could also work with Shopify but allowed for easier technology features.

One other big issue was a fee per ticket using other softwares and ticketing apps. All ticketing softwares, apps, and integrations work by charging a percentage of the ticket (usually 3%) or charging a percentage of total revenue of an event (usually 8%). It was “death by a million cuts” as described by them. We were able to automate the ticketing process to completely eliminate that fee ($20/month compared to thousands of dollars).

They also wanted a refresh with their website that would require frequent edits due to the addition of new events and changes in their business. We set up a monthly retainer where the Marketing Retrievers constantly updated their website, making it more aesthetic and branded, more user friendly, and optimized. We also manage their ticket processing and take on any issues that occur especially during prime time events. They needed an additional support role where we came in to step up.

Most importantly, our clients stated that they have been taken advantage of in the past. Client wanted a website with the ability to take payments instead of acting as a middleman between the customer and his wholesaler that he used. We set up a way to see the wholesaler’s products on his website where they could simply pick and pay. This freed up a lot of his time which was, of course, being the middleman and talking to these customers. We also set up a live ai chat bot on his website to help drive conversions. While that was the main concern, it’s also been 10 years (2015) since his website was touched. Though it showed images and a logo, it lacked branding. “If people don’t know you, it’s a marketing problem. If people don’t choose you, it’s a branding problem.” They truly had the best product on market for the lowest price (half of their competitor). That was their value proposition and we decided to fully embrace that as it also gives off the impression of a bigger, more established company. It’s only the biggest companies that are able to provide super low prices. Doing that builds trust which increases conversions. Client also stated how he was quoted for another agency for $6k. He did not like that and said how he liked the idea of a relationship and someone that grows with him and his company more than a large upfront transaction. We set up a smaller upfront fee along with a growth partnership. For every job the Marketing Retrievers get him through marketing efforts, primarily SEO, we get a percentage of the job. His margins were able to support this and it is a lower CAC (customer acquisition cost) than most other marketing channels. The only thing that it requires is sweat equity on behalf of the Marketing Retrievers.

Our client wanted an updated website for their clinic that matched the remodeling phase they were going through as a business. The business had hired additional doctors and remodeled their clinic and their website needed to reflect these changes. Marketing Retrievers gave them a website proposal and a satisfaction guarantee. Our client approved the proposal but upon first showing the website, the client decided they wanted to change the website to resemble a boutique-christian practice that was more modern. It was also a teaching point for Marketing retrievers, as that's when we decided to include photography, branding, and more into our website package. Without those elements, there's only so many things you can do to make a website look good.

After a rebrand, we hit the ground running again. The hero section of the website went through many iterations, as it gives patients a first impression and sets the tone for the rest of the website. We used a fade transition which gives an appearance of a more calmer, upscale service. We used softer tones of the brand colors which were originally very vibrant and playful to match the boutique feel of the practice.

We also optimized their Apple Maps listing and google my business profile to increase visibility and sales.

Lastly, we provided them a new review automation. reviews are essential to SEO (getting your website to rank on google). Not only if it the quantity, but Google likes to see consistent reviews.

AJ was going to start a cleaning company and in the process made this website that we now use as a way to showcase our abilities. AJ learned very quickly that building a website is easy to do, but building a good one is much different story. AJ has been building websites his whole life using simpler web builders but Cuzzo's Cleaners was his first dive into more sophisticated, more capable, and better web design that is also able to perform on SEO. This is A proof of concept cleaning company website capable of taking transactions and bookings instead of using a third party booking software for a seamless, branded process.
